Sunday 27th May - 'Wines of Italy'

Well, we are an Italian restaurant and sometimes you just can't get enough of a good thing! So here are a few fantastic wines and varieties you will recognise and some brand new ones to tantalise your taste buds. Firstly we have a delicious aromatic Indigenous grape from Sicily called Inzolia, then we pop over to Puglia to find the fruity fresh & expressive Fiano. Back to Sicily to wrap up the whites with this interesting rich and crisp Pinot Grigio/Zibibbo blend. Wow lots of new grapes to talk about and enjoy there!

The reds are a totally classic affair and we dive straight into the intense cherry of the Nero d'avola, followed by a soft and fruity Sangiovese. Then we finish with a flourish with a rustic Montepulciano, Bellissimo!
